Funding for this workshop is provided by the Broome County Division of Soil Waste and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.  Registration is requested, please call 778-6451.

Hungry Ear July 25th @ 5:30

The Hungry Ear, the free Library program celebrating the art of the short story, brings two humorous stories for its July program. Bernard Malamud's “Angel Levine” tells of a poor tailor, the victim of many sufferings, whose luck is about to change when a stranger suddenly appears to him. It will be read by Heidi Weeks. “The Whore of Mensa,” by Woody Allen, is about a man being blackmailed who seeks the help of P.I. Lupovitz, leading to an unusual investigation. It will be told by Mark Roth.

Free lunch for children up to age 18

Free meals will be given to children that are 18 and under at the Library.  Meals will be distributed Monday-Friday from 11:00-1:00 and Saturdays from 10:00-12:00.  CHOW and the Binghamton City School District are sponsoring this program.
