Hungry Ear July 31st @ 5:30

The Hungry Ear, the Library program celebrating the art of the short story, brings dramatic readings of two stories where dogs start the narrative. Truman Capote's “This is for Jamie,” is about a boy who wants a dog more than anything. “The Lady and the Dog,” by Anton Chekhov, is a tale of a certain woman whose dog catches the eye of an admirer. Or is it the woman? These stories will be told, as they have been since 2007, by The Hungry Ear Readers, hosted by Judy McMahon. Registration is not required. For more information, please call the Library at 778-6451.
