Hungry Ear

April 19

“The Hungry Ear,” the library program celebrating the art of the short story, brings two exciting contemporary American writers' works to its April program. Jay Bonansinga's Heavy, read by Bernie Sheredy, tells of a Hollywood agent who makes a friend in a strange way. Tim Mollen will offer The Girl in the Funeral Parlor, by Sam Weller, another unusual meeting. For further information, call the library at 607-778- 6451.

Book Club

May 1

If you like to read and share your thoughts about books in a friendly atmosphere, you are invited to join the Book Club. All are welcome to attend. At the May meeting, the group will discuss Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert.
