Food For Fines Begins December 1st

"Food for Fines" starts December 1st and will run until December 31st! For every nonperishable food item (that isn't expired) that you bring in, we will take $1.00 off fines you owe. Food will be donated to CHOW. You may donate food even if you don't have fines.

Library Board of Trustees Vacancy

The Broome County Public Library needs to fill one vacant positions on its' Board of Trustees.  The Library is searching for a City of Binghamton resident to serve on the Board. Duties and responsibilities of board members include the following:

You Can Now Borrow Knitting Needles

The Library now has a collection of circular and double pointed knitting needles that they will loan out.  There are 35 circular needles in a variety of sizes and 10 sets of double pointed needles in various sizes.  The needles will circulate for 3 weeks and can be renewed once.  You can call Information services with any questions (778-6451).
