Hungry Ear

The Hungry Ear, the library program celebrating the art of the short story, keeps the Halloween theme. Two stories should keep the listener in a state of fright and suspense; “The Party,” by William F. Nolan, read by Chris Nickerson, is about a man who finds himself in a strange and bewildering party scene. The classic Edgar Allan Poe tale, “The Cask of Amontillado'” will be told by Andy Horowitz. The program has been offering dramatic readings by local actors since 2007. Judy McMahon hosts. It is free and open to the public. For further information, call the Library at 607-778-6451.
