Big Read

The Broome County Public Library, in conjunction with the National Endowment for the Arts national program the Big Read, will host a free reading program entitled: The Vietnam War: a House Still Divided? on Thursdays, January 19th. Participants will read We Were Soldiers Once….And Young: Ia Drang-The Battle that Changed the War in Vietnam by Harold G. Moore.   This book will be discussed in a group setting facilitated by Dr. Timothy P. Bridgman, a local published professional Historian and Reference Librarian at the Broome County Public Library.
