Our Purpose

Our Fundraising Projects

Our fundraising projects help to support special library activities. In 2012, the Friends provided over $29,000 in support for special programs and items not covered by the library's regular budget. All proceeds from our book sales and sales in the gift shop support the library.

Each year, the Friends support the Children's Summer Program. The 2012 Dream, Big Read! Summer Reading Program was a BUSY summer. Over 400 families were served with over 50 programs ranging from Lapsit story times outside to Monday night specials like the Bubbleman and the ZooMobile.
