The Hungry Ear

Two favorite Christmas stories will be pulled from the archive to warm the hearts of listeners at The Hungry Ear December program.  Celebrating the art of the short story, actors will give dramatic readings of “And All Through the House,” by Ed McBain, read by Bill Gorman. Attendees will also hear “Christmas Is a Sad Season for the Poor,” by John Cheever, read by Bernie Sheredy.  The stories take place in a police station and an apartment building in New York City on Christmas Eve.  Judy McMahon is the host of The Hungry Ear.  For further information, call the Library at 607-778-6451.
